John Cena posts Silver Medalist Sanket Sargar’s pic on his Instagram, Netizens laud him

India’s Sanket Sargar won silver in weightlifting despite having an injury on Saturday. In the 55 kg category, Sanket opened the medal tally of India in ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022. The whole country applauded his determination and fighting guts when this 21-year-old boy won the silver for his nation. Even the 16-time WWE Champion and Hollywood actor John Cena shared India’s silver medalist picture on his Instagram after he won the medal in CWG 2022.

John Cena is known for posting mysterious stuff on his Instagram on different topics at different times. Mostly he posts a lot of things on India. He once posted a picture of Dhoni on his Instagram. Although he only posts pictures, he doesn’t give any captions and it happened this time too. He did not give any caption while sharing the picture of Sanket. However, it is understood that he is happy with the fighting skills of the Indian weightlifter.

Indian fans thanked Cena after he shared this picture. Fans are thrilled to see big athletes like him sharing photos of young players. Supporters believe that young athletes will be mentally strong from this contributed of Cena.

In the current Commonwealth Games, India currently stands at 6th place having 3 golds, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze respectively. At the end of the snatch and clean and jerk rounds, Sanket lifted a total of 248 kg. He was injured in the last 2nd round. On the second attempt he wanted to lift 139 kg but he could not raise it, he also got injured. The medical did not waste any time and started looking after him immediately. In no time as he signaled that he was fine and was all set for a third attempt.

For the 3rd-time Sanket once again wanted to lift 139 kg but he couldn’t as he gets hurt again. Then Sanket has to be managed with silver medal.

Sanket comes from a very ordinary lower-middle class family. He was a history student at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He also Championed Khelo India Youth Games and Khelo India University Games in 2020. 21-year-old holds the national record in the 55 kg category (total of 244 kg).
