“Not Long Ago, I Was On The Other Side,”: Bumrah, On His Time at NCA, Met Youngsters

Bumrah at NCA

Jasprit Bumrah, the speed superhead of Team India’s fast bowling unit, is making the best of his time at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru by mentoring young cricketers there.

Bumrah posted a couple of photos on his Instagram account earlier this week in which he can be seen delivering some sound advice to children. He noted how enthusiastic he was to learn new things a few years ago. The speedster also stated that he enjoys working with younger players and assisting them in their development by sharing his knowledge.

Bumrah is now injured with a back issue. He was ruled out of the current Asia Cup 2022 and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA. Given the importance of the T20 World Cup 2022, the seasoned campaigner will be hoping to regain his fitness soon.

I was on the other side

Jasprit Bumrah, an Indian pacer, spoke about his current rehab stint at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Bumrah posted, “Not long ago, I was on the other side, learning, observing and grasping everything I could. Which is why it means a lot to me to be able to use the knowledge I have today to help youngsters along the way.”

NCA, Bengaluru is a training ground for future Indian cricketers, and Bumrah made time out of his busy schedule to visit with them and give some useful knowledge. The young cricketers at NCA must have learned a lot from the ace Indian pacer, who plays for India in all formats.
