Paralympics 2024 India

The Indian Paralympic athletes had a dream run at Paris Paralympics 2024 as they finished their campaign with their best-ever performance. India bagged a total of 29 medals, which was 10 more from what India had achieved in Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

While Paris Olympics 2024 saw India get 6 medals and without a single gold medal, the Paris Paralympics 2024 was a stark contrast. India won a total of 7 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 13 bronze medals to end their campaign on a high.

India has now registered itself as a juggernaut in Paralympics and finished in the 18th position in the overall medal points table. China finished in the top position with a total of 94 gold medals and 220 medals under their belt.

On the other hand, Great Britain finished in the 2nd position with 49 gold medals and United States of America (USA) in 3rd position with 36 gold medals respectively. This goes on to show that China are the undisputed monarchs when it comes to Paralympics with a jaw-dropping total gold medal count being 94.
