The 4th Ashes Test ended in a draw but in a thrilling fashion between England and Australia. Stuart Broad and James Anderson’s determination protected England from suffering their 4th consecutive defeat of this series. The way tailenders batted in the last 12 overs was simply remarkable.

During the final few overs, Aussie skipper Pat Cummins placed a crucial field by bringing 9 players inside the circle. The pacer was in need of a breakthrough and he placed every fielder around the batman in order to create pressure. However, his strategy didn’t work out and visitors’ tailenders snatched the game from Australia’s jaw.

A snap of that instance got viral on social media in which as many as 9 fielders could be seen fielding around the batsman with the ball in Nathan Lyon’s hands, who was about to bowl his delivery. The picture received mixed reactions from netizens and many termed it as “thriller of Test Cricket”.

Soon former Indian Premier League winner Kolkata Knight Rider tried to take a dig on MS Dhoni and showed the latter as one of the tailenders. KKR took to their official Twitter handle and shared a post comparing the fielding placed by Pat Cummins in the 4th Test to the one set up by Gautam Gambhir a few years ago against MS Dhoni during a KKR vs RPS game.

KKR’s social media team also termed Gautam Gambhir’s move as a ” masterstroke”. The post didn’t go down well with Chennai Super Kings star player Ravindra Jadeja and quickly left a comment trolling KKR stating it as just a show-off. Jadeja took to his official handle and commented, “show-off”

Ravindra Jadeja didn’t like the way KKR portrayed a batsman like MS Dhoni. The latter has already bid adieu to all forms of cricket and is currently playing for CSK in IPL. The former Indian skipper has announced that he will be retiring from cricket after playing his final game in Chennai.

Dhoni has played for defunct (Rising Pune Supergiants & Chennai Super Kings.) and he is one of the all-time leading run-scorer in IPL with 4746 runs in 220 games. Interestingly, he is also reckoned as one of the best skippers in history, who has led CSK to four IPL titles under his captaincy.
