India lost a hard-fought T20I series against Sri Lanka for the first time in the history of cricket. They lost the series decider by a margin of 7 wickets in a low-scoring affair. It was a big achievement for the young islanders, who were without their star players. Post-match a clip went viral in which Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan can be seen sharing his experience of international cricket. Meanwhile, several Sri Lankan players were seen sincerely listening to him.
3rd T20I turned out to be a horrendous game for Team India, as they were dismissed at a low score of 81 runs. Indian batsmen including Shikhar Dhawan, Devdutt Padikkal, Nitish Rana, and Ruturaj Gaikwad failed in clicking a good knock with the bat. Also, they struggled a lot against Sri Lankan spinner W Hasaranga, who took a four-wicket haul on his birthday.

“Hardik Pandya gifting a bat to Chamika and now Shikhar Dhawan taking the time out to talk to the young team. One thing is for sure, this Flag of the Sri Lanka bunch loves to learn. Onwards and upwards,” observed another.
