Yuvraj Singh praises Jasprit Bumrah in his own style

Mumbai Indians have the privilege to have one of the best pacers in the league. But, they had earned that opportunity by outclassing Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals in the 2014 IPL auction.

Bumrah had a base price of INR 20 Lakhs in the 2014 auction. The star player made his debut for Mumbai based franchise back in 2013. But, the bowler was released by the franchise. However, MI changed their mind in the auction and paid a hefty price at that time of INR 1.2 Crore in order to grab his services back.

MI and DC were involved in an intense bidding war in that auction for the name of Jasprit Bumrah. Later on, they were joined by Rajasthan Royals in the battle. However, it was Mumbai Indians, who finished at the top between the three as they splashed an amount of INR 1.2 Cr.

Since then the pacer has not been into the auction as he has been retained by Mumbai Indians on all occassions. He will be plying traits for the same franchise in the upcoming IPL 2022 edition that is reported to take place in India.
