India got an uphill task to chase a mammoth target of 420 runs to chase on the final day of the Chennai Test. It looks like an impossible task for the hosts, who have got off to a poor start on Day-5. And, James Anderson, the English pacer bowling has paved more roadblocks in Team India’s way. He dismissed vice-captain Shubhman Gill with a peach of an inswinger that took the stumps a couple of steps away from the grooves.
Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubhman Gill opened Day-5 for Team India. The hosts’ mindset was to go for a draw. But, England bowlers had some other plans. They came to the field all guns blazing and gave some early blows to Team India. Jack Leach dismissed Pujara in the first session of the day. Later on, James Anderson joined the party. Shubhman Gill, who looked settled and was playing in the fifties, was dismissed by the pacer with an audacious in-swinger. He clean bowled Shubhman Gill before dismissing Ajinkya Rahane in the same over.

James Anderson Cartwheels Shubhman Gill’s Stump With A Peach In-Swinger
Anderson bowled a ripper to dismiss Shubhman Gill. He bowled a fullish length that got a reverse swing and clean bowled Indian batsman. It was a beautiful sight for the English pacer as the stumps cartwheeled a couple of steps away from the grooves. Shubhman recorded his 3rd fifty in Test cricket as he played a decent knock of 50 runs off 83 balls against three lions in difficult batting conditions
Coming onto the match, Team India is struggling in the 1st Test to avoid the first Test defeat in 8 years against England back in their own backyards. On the other hand, James Anderson has left no stone unturned in helping his side to register a historic win. He has dismissed top-order batsman and till now pacer has grabbed three wickets with four maidens in his overall seven overs.
