Telugu movie superstar Allu Arjun’s trademark style from Pushpa has taken a toll on cricketer’s mind. Many players from different countries have been spotted celebrating their achievements in the matches by using the “Pushpa Jhukega Nahi” style with their hands. Now, Virat Kohli has also joined the bandwagon as he was spotted doing the same in the 1st Test against Sri Lanka.

The hosts thrashed visitors by a big margin of 222 runs and Ravindra Jadeja was awarded Man of the Match for his brilliance with the bat as well as the ball. He slammed 175* runs and grabbed 9 wickets in the game. Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant, and Ravi Ashwin also managed decent fifties with the bat against Islanders.

Virat Kohli does “Jhukega Nahi” during 1st Test

It was a special game for the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The right-handed batsman was playing his 100th Test match for India. He even got his name etched in the list of batsmen with 8000 runs in red-ball cricket. However, Kohli failed in making it big in his special game. The right-handed batsman scored 45 runs before getting out to Embuldeniya.

Although, he couldn’t steal the limelight in 1st Test with the bat. But, his Pushpa celebration while fielding got viral on social media in no time.

Kohli made his Test debut back in 2011 and since then he has gone on to become one of the best in the history of red-ball cricket. So far Kohli has got 27 hundred and 28 fifties with the bat. The star player is also reckoned as great when it comes to Test captaincy. He led India to several big series wins during his tenure. Kohli led Team India to their first Test series win in Australia against Australia in a span of 71 years.

Virat Kohli will now be seen in action during the 2nd Test of the two-match series. The game is slated to be played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru starting on 12th Marc 2022.
