We saw the net being converted into one of the green dustbins that was present right throughout the city of Paris during the Olympics. It basically highlighted that one should use dustbins to dispose off waste and unwanted substances and they should not litter the streets of Paris.
Wheelchair Basketball to kickstart from 30th August 2024
In the men’s tournament, Spain will be locking horns with Basketball in a Group B fixture. United States of America (USA) had won the gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 Wheelchair Men’s Basketball event, beating Japan. Great Britain had bagged the bronze medal in this event.
Netherlands women will be crossing swords with Japan women from 2:00 PM (IST) on 30th August 2024 to kickstart their category at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
The wheelchair basketball paralympics event is all set to ignite passion and love for the sport and will be an embodiment of inclusivity. It is incredible to see that people with disabilities, do not make up excuses and perform exceedingly well for their country, at the highest level of the sport.
