Debut and pre-UFC career: Artem Lobov made his MMA debut against Patrick Vickers on November 27, 2010. He lost his debut match on Cage Warriors 39: The Uprising by unanimous decision.
He continued fighting in the Lightweight division until 2015 for various promotions. In this time, he competed in Cage Warrior, OMMAC, Budo, Pancrase, Immortal, All or Nothing, etc. Other promotions. Lobov hence had an MMA record of 11-10 before joining the UFC.
