Brock Edward Lesnar was born in Webster, South Dakota, on July 12, 1977. Brock was brought up alongside three siblings in a family of German and Polish descent on a dairy farm. He participated in the football and wrestling teams during his high school days. He finished third in the state championships in his senior year at high school. Lesnar joined the Army National Guard at age 17 but was reassigned to a desk job when his colourblindness was discovered. Later, he failed a computer typing test and was then discharged.
