Debut and Early career: Henry Cejudo made his debut against Michael Poe at WFF MMA: Pascua Yaqui Fights 4 on March 2, 2013. He beat his opponent by TKO in his first fight.
He would win his next five fights at WFF, Gladiator, and Legacy promotions before moving to UFC with a 6-0 record.
Ultimate Fighting Championship debut: Cejudo made his UFC debut against Dustin Kimura on December 13, 2014. He won his first UFC fight by Unanimous decision.
Winning the UFC Flyweight and Bantamweight title: On August 4, 2018, Henry Cejudo fought against Demetrious Johnson for the UFC Flyweight title. Cejudo did win the match but the decision was pretty controversial as his opponent dominated in most of the rounds.

Demetrious Johnson vs. Henry Cejudo – UFC 227: The two flyweights fought for the UFC Flyweight title in 2018. The fight was visibly dominated by Johnson in most of the rounds. But the Judges awarded the win to Cejudo by a unanimous decision of 48-47. This was a huge shock to Johnson and most of the UFC fans around the world. The win did give Cejudo his championship but many felt it was undeserved.
