Max Verstappen Career
At the age of four, Verstappen started his racing journey with karting. In 2006, he won the Belgian Championship racing in a CRG kart.
In 2009, he joined Team Pex Racing and won the Flemish Minimax championship and the Belgian KF5 championship later that year.
In 2010, he entered international karting, and within three years in 2013, he won the World KZ Championship, the highest carting category.
Formula One
His first experience in a race car was Testing a Formula One Renault car for 160 laps at the Pembrey Circuit.

2019 onwards Red Bull switched from Renault to Honda power units turning Verstappen into a Honda-powered driver. He finished the season in 3rd place in the championship with 278 points, the best in his career with three victories and nine podium finishes.
In 2020, Verstappen extended his contract with Red Bull until 2023. He finished the 2020 season in 3rd place in the championship with 214 points and claimed two race victories and eleven podium finishes alongside three fastest laps to his name.
In the 2021 Season, Verstappen finished second just behind Lewis Hamilton at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Hamilton and Verstappen continued to battle it out for the win with their rivalry growing in each race. Ultimately he finished the 2021 season with nine wins and 16 podiums to his name creating history.
The 2022 season was the best season of his career as he broke records in this season. He finished with the first position. Not only this, he also made two new records. First was the Most race wins in a single season- 15. And the second was the Most points in a single season – 454.
