List – A
On February 25, 2017, Shubman Gill made his List A debut for Punjab against the Vidharbha squad in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. On November 17, 2017, he made his Punjab first-class debut in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. In his second first-class encounter later that month, batting for Punjab against Services, he made his first century.
