Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan spinner is currently one of the best in the business. He is rated as one of the best spin-heads in international cricket. On most occasions, he hogg the limelight due to his bowling. But on the previous night, he came into the spotlight due to his explosive batting as well. He finished the game in MS Dhoni’s style as he smashed the ball for a six with former Indian skipper trademark helicopter stroke.
The 22-year-old is currently playing his debut Pakistan Super League season. He was bought by Lahore Qalandars and their were lots of expectations from the youngster. And, he gave a standout performance in his debut game against Peshawar Zalmi.

Rashid Khan emerged as a match-winner for his team in the game. He contributed well with the bat and ball. In bowling, he gave away only 14 runs without giving away a single boundary or a six. Coming onto his batting, Rashid played a cameo of 27 runs off 15 balls studded with three boundaries and a six.
He looked in full flow with the bat against Zalmi. At the end, when Qalandars required 4 runs off 10 balls, Rashid Khan played MS Dhoni’s trade-mark helicopter shot and smashed a big six in order to help his side in winning the game.
Meanwhile, the way he went for six was simply remarkable. In the penultimate over of the game, Amad Butt bowled a full-length delivery on a wide off-stump and Rashid Khan came on his knee and swept in helicopter style to deliver the ball for a six.
It was so good that England women cricketer Sarah Taylor was left in awe. She took to her official Twitter handle and shared a post in which she was requesting Rashid Khan to teach her the helicopter shot.
