Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle is one of the best T20 players in the world. However, the West Indian did not have the best of his career in 2021 due to a poor season with Kings XI Punjab and an underwhelming performance at World Cup 2019 that saw him make just 193 runs from 10 games.
He rarely appeared as he had done before, averaging 23 off 38 balls which were lower than what he averaged for KXIP last year (27). His bad form extended into next season too where it remains uncertain if Chris will be selected by any team or even given another contract.
