Kedar Jadhav, who was a member of the Hyderabad team, failed to contribute in the middle overs during the season. He finished with a low average of 55 runs in six matches. This season, he appears unlikely to receive a bid.
To make a case for himself in the IPL, he may have to demonstrate his massive potential in Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament where all players are given equal opportunity and there is no auction process involved which will give him an edge over other teams’ players as well as keep his place alive for next year’s auctions.
