Yograj Singh on MS Dhoni

Yograj Singh, the father of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has once again publicly criticized MS Dhoni, stating emphatically that he will “never forgive” the former captain of the Indian cricket team.

This latest outburst has gone viral on social media, drawing significant attention to the ongoing tension between Yograj and Dhoni.

In an interview with the Zee Switch YouTube channel, Yograj expressed his deep resentment towards Dhoni, claiming that the former captain’s actions had severely impacted Yuvraj’s cricket career.

“I won’t forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life,” Yograj stated.

He further elaborated on his personal principles, asserting that he has never forgiven anyone who has wronged him and has never engaged in physical affection, even with family members.

This is not the first time Yograj has directed his criticism at Dhoni.

Earlier this year, he claimed that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost the IPL 2024 due to Dhoni’s supposed jealousy of Yuvraj, stating, “CSK lost IPL 2024. Why did they lose? It’s whatever you sow, so shall you reap.” He accused Dhoni of not acknowledging Yuvraj during the tournament, which he believes contributed to CSK’s failure.

Yograj’s comments have sparked a mix of reactions online, with many fans and commentators weighing in on the controversy. His remarks also included a broader critique of the cricketing establishment, suggesting that Yuvraj could have played for the Indian team for an additional four to five years if not for Dhoni’s influence.

He has called for Yuvraj to be honored with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, for his contributions to cricket, particularly highlighting his battle with cancer and his role in India’s World Cup victory.
