TOP 2 Most Centuries in T20 International Cricket

Rohit Sharma | India (5 Hundreds)

Indian batsman Rohit Sharma is the best, with five T20I centuries. Starting his career in 2007, Sharma’s path to the record has been reliability and panache. His initial T20I century was against South Africa in 2015, when he made 106 runs in Dharamsala. He followed it up with a destructive 118 off Sri Lanka in 2017, done in a mere 43 balls, equaling the record for the quickest T20I century. Additional centuries against England, West Indies, and Afghanistan made him a T20I mainstay. Specifically, his unbeaten 121* vs Afghanistan in January 2024 at Bengaluru highlighted his pressure performances.

Glen Maxwell | Australia (5 Hundreds)

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is the joint record holder for the most T20I centuries, with five to his credit. With his aggressive and unconventional batting style, Maxwell’s first century was a 145* against Sri Lanka in 2016, one of the highest individual scores in T20I cricket. He went on to impress with unbeaten centuries against England and India, demonstrating his adaptability in varying conditions. In November 2024, Maxwell contributed to his total with a dazzling 120* against the West Indies at Adelaide Oval, reasserting his status as a match-winner.
