IND vs ENG 3rd Test Live Score: 3rd Wicket Down! Rohit Still On Crease

Date:

In the third Test between India and England in Rajkot, the Indian team faced early setbacks, losing three wickets with opener Rohit Sharma holding fort at the crease.

The visitors, England, put up a disciplined bowling performance, with Mark Wood dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill, while spinner Tom Hartley claimed the wicket of Raja Patidar.

Having won the toss, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma opted to bat first on what seemed like a batting-friendly pitch.

The decision to bat first was strategic, aiming to capitalize on the favorable conditions and put up a substantial total on the board.

India made significant changes to their playing XI, introducing Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel into the side. This decision signalled a shift in the team’s strategy, possibly looking to strengthen their batting lineup.

With Rohit Sharma still at the crease, India will be relying on his experience and skill to guide the team to a competitive total.

The partnership between Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja will be crucial in stabilizing the innings and building a strong foundation for the middle order to capitalize on.

England, on the other hand, will be looking to capitalize on the early breakthroughs and continue to apply pressure on the Indian batsmen.

The contest between bat and ball promises to be intriguing, with both teams eager to gain the upper hand in the third Test match.
