It is officially established that all 32 teams will compete in the BGIS 2024 Semifinals. The top 16 players from the Wildcard and fourth round stages have secured their places.
The planned duration of this phase is two weeks. June 6 is the start of the first week, which will last until June 9, 2024.
For Week 1, these teams will be split into three groups. The teams will compete in a Round Robin style, with the top eight teams advancing to the Grand Finals and the bottom 24 teams moving on to the second week. In the first week, each group will play 12 matches in total.
From May 23 to May 26, 2024, the BGIS saw its fourth round. Of the 64 contestants, 16 advanced straight to the Semifinal Week 1.
The Wildcard competition took place between May 30 and June 2, with the top 16 players advancing to the next round.

Inferno, Prime Esports, Limra, and a few other contenders were outstanding in the fourth round. During this phase, a few seasoned squads, such Team XSpark, Global Esports, and Reckoning, also had some excellent results.
Now, they’ll aim to maintain this superiority in the Semifinals. After struggling in the fourth round, teams like Soul, Carnival, Entity, and GodLike rallied mightily in the Wildcard round to secure their spots in this phase.
However, in the preceding round, a number of well-known squads, like Revenant, Medal, Blind, and others, were removed from the BGIS 2024.
