The 9th edition of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 is all set to kickstart from 19th July 2024 in Sri Lanka and the tournament promises to ooze a lot of cricketing action right throughout the course of the tournament.
Defending champions India have 7 titles out of the 8 that have happened and it underlines the unreal dominance of the Indian women’s cricket team in Asia. None of the teams are remotely close to the quality of the Indian team.
A total of 2 groups have been formed and each group has 4 teams each. 8 teams will be participating in the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 and the top 2 from each group will be qualifying to the semi-finals.
India have Pakistan, UAE and Nepal in their group and are firm favourites to qualify for the semi-finals.
