    India secured a convincing victory over Bangladesh in the second Test match held at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur, winning by seven wickets. 

    This win clinched the match and allowed India to sweep the two-match series 2-0.

    On the final day of the Test, India needed just 95 runs to win after restricting Bangladesh to 146 runs in their second innings. 

    The Indian bowlers showcased their prowess, with Ravichandran Ashwin leading the charge by taking crucial wickets early on. 

    He finished with impressive figures, contributing significantly to India’s bowling attack.

    Bangladesh’s Second Innings

    Resuming at 26 for 2, Bangladesh struggled against India’s bowling attack. They were quickly reduced to 146 all out, with Ashwin taking key wickets and finishing with impressive figures of 4 for 14.

    Shadman Islam was the top scorer for Bangladesh in their second innings with 45 runs, but he lacked support from his teammates.

    The Indian bowlers capitalized on the conditions and executed their plans effectively, leading to a swift end to Bangladesh’s innings.

    India’s Chase

    Chasing a target of 95 runs, India started cautiously but quickly found their rhythm. The openers provided a solid foundation, ensuring that the team crossed the finish line without much trouble.

    Yashasvi Jaiswal played aggressively, scoring 40 runs off just 30 balls, while Virat Kohli anchored the innings with an unbeaten 30 runs.

    Rishabh Pant sealed the victory with a boundary, finishing the match at 99 for 3, showcasing India’s batting depth and intent.
