India sealed first Test against West Indies in clinical fashion With Rahane and Jasprit Bumrah as chief tormentors

The perfect combination of Jasprit Bumrah and Ajinkya Rahane is all that India needed on the courts to make mincemeat of West Indies in the cricket match up. The outcome was one that can never be threatened. In the two test series of India Vs West Indies, it was an emphatic 318 runs for India against West Indies as they lead with a comfortable 1-0.  Rahane posted his first three-figure score in five-day cricket since the year 2017 which made him 53 into 102 and registered his 10th Test match century.

Rahane contributed valuable 81 in the first innings and was rewarded for his poise and patience with 102 from 242 balls along with five boundaries. Vihari was splendid in his ton and stand with Jinx, together making 80 of 135 runs with India holding off on the declaration leaving Holder behind.

Kraigg Brathwaite prodded Jasprit Bumrah behind when the bowler robustly clattered Campbell’s stumps over. Sharma had Shamarh Brooks legs pinged before he destroy Darren Bravo’s off stump.

There were fewer reprieves in the final session with Jasprit Bumrah completing his haul with the addition of the wickets of Jason Holder and Shai Hope. Despite the last-wicket fight of half century between Miguel Cummins (19no) and Roach, India defeated her hosts with relative ease.
