Rizvi’s Journey
Sameer Rizvi’s journey has been remarkable, especially considering he faced challenges earlier in the season where he struggled to make an impact in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Despite being dropped from Uttar Pradesh’s senior Vijay Hazare Trophy side after scoring only 136 runs in eight matches, his recent performances have demonstrated his potential and talent at the U-23 level.
Having been picked for an impressive INR 8.4 crore by Chennai Super Kings during the IPL 2024 auction, Rizvi is now looking to translate his domestic success into opportunities at the professional level.
After being acquired by Delhi Capitals for INR 95 lakhs this year, he aims to make a significant impact in the upcoming IPL season.
