Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025 Knockouts: Full Schedule, Qualified Teams

The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 has reached an exciting phase as the group stage concluded on January 5, 2025. The tournament has showcased intense competition and thrilling matches, culminating in the confirmation of the teams that will compete in the knockout stages. 

The knockout matches will take place in Vadodara, with the first pre-quarterfinals scheduled for January 9, 2025.

This year’s tournament format allows for a total of 38 teams to participate, divided into multiple groups. The top six teams from the group stage have directly qualified for the quarter-finals, while teams ranked seventh to tenth will compete in the re-quarterfinals.

The top teams have secured their spots for the knockout rounds, with Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Vidarbha, and Baroda qualifying directly for the quarter-finals by finishing at the top of their respective groups.

In addition to the top six teams, four others will compete in pre-quarterfinals. These te AMs, ranked seventh to tenth overall, will face off for a chance to join the quarter-finals. The winners of the pre-quarterfinals will advance to meet the top six teams in the quarter-finals.

The first pre-quarterfinal will feature Haryana taking on Bengal, while the second match will see Rajasthan go up against Tamil Nadu. The winner of the Haryana vs. Bengal match will face Gujarat in the quarter-finals, and the winner of Rajasthan vs. Tamil Nadu will meet Vidarbha.
