    PAK vs WI Test Series

Pakistan lock horns with West Indies for an exciting and gripping 2-Test match series. The 1st Test match has commenced at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan and promises to be an absolute crackerjack of a series.

The hosts are coming on the back of a 0-2 Test series loss in South Africa but there were plenty of positives for them. Shan Masood and co. would be confident of turning things around and exorcising the ghosts of their South African tour.

On the other hand, West Indies had a 1-1 stalemate against Bangladesh in their own turf in their previous Test assignment. This Test series would be the last assignment of Andre Coley as the Test coach. He would be handing over the reigns of the Test format to former West Indian captain, Darren Sammy, after the completion of this series.

In this article, we take a look at the top 5 players to watch out for in the PAK vs WI Test Series 2025:

    1. Jayden Seales (West Indies)

In the last Test assignment of West Indies against Bangladesh, Jayden Seales emerged out as one of the top performers of the hosts. Seales bagged 10 wickets at a good average of 13.80 and he will be a key player to watch out for.

If West Indies are to perform well against Pakistan, the 23-year-old bowler from Trinidad and Tobago, needs to step up. In 17 Test matches so far, he has managed to bag 72 wickets at an average of 22.3.

    2. Babar Azam (Pakistan)

One of the finest-ever cricketers from Pakistan, Babar Azam can be a vital player in the Pakistani outfit. The former captain of the Men in Green, Babar Azam has the ability to single-handedly win games for Pakistan.

Azam scored 193 runs in their series versus South Africa and finished as the highest run-getter of the visitors. He had a good average of 48.25 in that series.

    3. Mohammad Abbas (Pakistan)

    Mohammad Abbas

One of the key pillars in the bowling department of Pakistan, Mohammad Abbas will be the cynosure of all eyes in this particular series. He recently completed 100 wickets in Test cricket in the series versus South Africa.

Mohammad Abbas bagged 10 wickets in that series and he wreaked havoc with the red-ball. He can send shivers down the spines of the West Indian batters in the upcoming series.

    4. Justin Greaves (West Indies)

    Justin Greaves

Middle-order batter Justin Grevaes had a great outing in the 1st Test match between West Indies and Bangladesh at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua in November 2024. He scored his maiden century and lit up the stadium in Antigua.

Greaves finished as the highest run-getter of West Indies in that series and he will be a key player to watch out for in the PAK vs WI Test series 2025.

    5. Gudakesh Motie (West Indies)

    Gudakesh Motie

Since the pitches in Pakistan are slow and sluggish, Gudakesh Motie, who is a fantastic slow left-arm orthodox bowler, will be a key player to watch out for. In the 1st Test match in Multan, West Indies have decided to open the bowling with Motie.

As Motie is a good all-rounder, he can contribute with the bat as well and can add some valuable runs at the lower-order for the visitors.
