MS Dhoni, the legendary former captain of the Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), is the oldest player in IPL 2025. 

At 43, he continues to be a pivotal figure for CSK, specializing as a wicketkeeper and lower-order batter. 

Despite stepping down from captaincy, Dhoni remains a fan favorite, and there is speculation that this could be his final season in the IPL. 

His experience and leadership qualities are invaluable as he aims for another title with CSK.

2. Faf du Plessis (Delhi Capitals) – Age: 40 years, 246 days

Faf du Plessis, a former South African captain and now vice-captain of Delhi Capitals (DC), is another veteran player in IPL 2025. 

At 40 years old, he brings extensive experience to the team after being signed for INR 2 crore. 

Du Plessis has been a consistent performer in the IPL, amassing over 4,500 runs throughout his career.
