Virat Kohli touched a big milestone in the 1st Test against Sri Lanka. He played his 100th Test for India and became the 13th Indian cricketer to achieve this feat. And, Kohli, who is known as the idol of many youngsters won everyone’s heart with his sweet gesture post 1st Test.

Virat Kohli gifted a jersey to one of his fans Dharmveer Pal. The latter is specially-abled and he usually travels alongside Team India on domestic as well as international tours. Post 1st Test, while boarding the bus Virat Kohli gifted his jersey to his fan.

The video clip of the same instance got viral on social media in no time. And, the player received love from netizens in the best possible way. Virat Kohli, who was playing his 100th Test got only one chance to bat and he managed 45 runs with the bat. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja won the game for India single-handedly. The southpaw smashed 175 runs and took 9 wickets in the match.

Post-match, Rohit Sharma praised Ravindra Jadeja’s contribution with the bat. He added that it was a brilliant performance given by Team India in a Test match that was played on a batting-friendly wicket.

“It was a great game of cricket from our perspective. We ticked all the boxes we wanted to. To be honest I didn’t think it is going to be that kind of a Test match that would get over in three days. It was a good batting pitch, there was some turn and some assistance for the seamers as well,” said Rohit after the game.

“Lot of credit to the guys, they bowled very well in tandem, kept the pressure and never made it easier for the Sri Lanka batsmen,” he added.
