Robin Uthappa
Robin Uthappa, a seasoned batter for India, has retired from international tournaments. The 36-year-final old’s appearance for India was against Zimbabwe in 2015.
Uthappa made his India debut in 2006 against England before using his finishing skills to play a significant part in the T20 World Cup that year. After that, he participated in 46 ODIs, scoring a total of 934 runs at an average of 86. In addition, he continued on to play for India in 13 T20Is, scoring 249 runs with a strike rate of 118.01.
He was a member of the CSK team that won the title in 2021, and the four-time champions signed him back earlier this year. In IPL 2022, Uthappa was a mainstay for CSK in their middle order, but he struggled to produce regularly, finishing the year with 230 runs in 12 games.
Suresh Raina
Recently, Suresh Raina confirmed his retirement from the Indian Premier League. The last time Raina played for the Chennai Super Kings was in 2021. The MS Dhoni-led CSK did not choose Mr. IPL during the IPL 2022 super auction earlier this year, and neither did any other team.
He has won matches for the yellow team over the years and ranks among the top run scorers in IPL history. Raina has accrued 5528 runs in 205 IPL games, scoring at a respectable 32.5 average and 136.7 strike rate.
Over the course of a 13-year international career, Raina played for India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20 Internationals. He also had the honor of momentarily leading the group as captain. Raina scored 1605 runs in 78 T20Is and 5615 runs in 226 ODIs.
Rahul Sharma
Rahul Sharma, an Indian leg-spinner, announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Sunday. Sharma played for the now-defunct Pune Warriors in 2013, and then the Delhi Daredevils in 2014. His IPL debut team was Deccan Chargers in 2010. He participated in 44 different IPL games and claimed 40 wickets overall.
