Battlegrounds Mobile India, or BGMI, was banned by the Indian government in July 2022. Although the game was banned, players are still able to play the game owing to the fact that the servers of BGMI have not been taken down. However, the absence of the game on the Play Store and App Store has resulted in the game not getting any updates since its ban.
PUBG Mobile recently received the 2.4 beta update. Battlegrounds Mobile India received all updates that PUBG Mobile received, prior to the ban. However, post the ban, this has ceased. The 2.4 beta update as well, has not been brought into BGMI.
There are several APK download links doing the rounds on the internet of the BGMI 2.4 update APK. However, players must remain astray from these as such APK files could damage their devices. It is highly unlikely that BGMI will get the 2.4 update until the game’s official return. Fans of BGMI should rather wait for the official return date announcement.
