Dota 2: Virtus.pro Recruits Krylat As New Carry

Date:

Alexandr “krylat” Krylatov, a former carry for Team Empire Hope, has joined Virtus.pro, according to an official announcement. Virtus.pro was compelled to rapidly locate a good alternative before the upcoming season after its former carry Kamil “Koma” Biktimirov was permanently banned for account sharing and impersonating players from other teams during tournament games before joining the squad.

Koma’s Ban

Ten players were permanently barred from competing in Valve’s Dota 2 competitions as a result of cheating and rule breaches during the Open Qualifiers for the Dota Pro Circuit 2023: Tour 1 by tournament organiser PGL.

It was discovered that the banned gamers had shared accounts and impersonated players from other teams during tournament games. Account sharing refers to utilising another player’s account to take part in a game or competition. Impersonation refers to claiming to be a member of a different team. Both of these are expressly forbidden in Valve events.

Alexander “StrangeR” Solomonov, the head of Dota 2 for VP, said that the company was shocked to learn that Koma had been given a permanent ban. He also added that because he had selected krylat to take Koma’s place, the squad quickly found a competent substitute for the carry position.

Krylat proved his prowess with Puckchamp for the 2021–2022 DPC season in Eastern Europe, and Team Empire Hope recently signed him. However, Virtus.pro picked him to be their replacement carry when Koma received a permanent ban. The group also said that, as a result of a discussion with the group, Valve had approved the emergency inclusion, thus it will keep its place in the EEU DPC.
