In the 2nd Test of the two-match series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, the India National Cricket Team defeated the Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh National Cricket Team by three wickets.

India held second place on the points table and collected significant ICC World Test Championship points with the victory in the Test match.

India has a PCT of 58.93% and is trailing Australia in the WTC rankings with four Test matches remaining. South Africa and Sri Lanka are in fourth and fifth place, respectively, while Australia is at the top of the list with a PCT% of 76.92.
