On the third day of the second Test match of the series against South Africa, he played an inning for 111 runs. The wicketkeeper from Australia had scored a century in the test earlier in 2013.
Alex Carey, a left-handed batter, scored a century in 133 balls. In the 19th innings in 14 Test matches, he registered his first century. In his 149 balls, Carey hit 13 fours. Pacer Marco Jansen caught him on his own ball.
