Lionel Messi realized a long-held desire of winning Argentina FIFA World Cup 2022 championship in Qatar earlier this month. After a 36-year hiatus, Argentina’s third World Cup victory finally occurred.
Many people throughout the world consider Messi to be one of the actual GOAT (Greatest of All Time) and their favorite football player. Messi also cheered one of his younger followers by sending the 7-year-old Ziva Dhoni, a specially autographed Argentina shirt. Ziva is the daughter of MS Dhoni, the current captain of the Chennai Super Kings, and a former captain of India.
Ziva posted a photo of the jersey Messi had given her on Instagram. The popular football player has a sizable fan base in India as well. It is also commonly known that Dhoni is a major football lover.
Messi signed the jersey saying ‘Para Ziva’, an image of which was posted on Ziva’s Instagram account as well.
The caption of the picture read: ‘Like father, like daughter’.
