They ended up going to the finals and eventually lost to ATK Mohun Bagan in the penalty round. Nevertheless, it was a dream moment for Simon Grayson.
2. The Durand Cup 2022 win would boost their confidence levels
With a silverware already in their kitty, Bengaluru FC would be hoping to draw confidence and momentum from it. Under the tutelage of Simon Grayson, Bengaluru FC had gone all the way to clinch the Durand Cup 2022 title.
