Delhi Capitals (DC) suffered a huge defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 67 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and ended their campaign with a defeat.
CSK on the other hand, became the 2nd team to qualify and they will be playing Gujarat Titans (GT) in Qualifier 1 on 23rd May 2023 at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings were at their best in this game against DC and they posted 223 runs on the board. Delhi couldn’t get their bearings right in the run chase and fell short by a huge margin.

3. Deepak Chahar stars with the ball
After being a little rusty post his comeback from injury in IPL 2023, Deepak Chahar is now proving to be an asset for Chennai Super Kings. In this DC vs CSK game, Chahar bagged 3 wickets and had an excellent economy of 5.50.
In his 4 overs, Deepak Chahar conceded only 22 runs and was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors. He bagged the important wickets of Phil Salt, Rilee Rossouw and Axar Patel and sealed the deal for Chennai Super Kings.
Going into the playoffs, Deepak Chahar will be playing a big role in Chennai Super Kings’ bid for their 5th IPL title.
