On Thursday, Prasidh Krishna, a cricketer from Team India, had a special day as he got married to his fiance Rachana in a beautiful traditional South Indian wedding ceremony.
Just a few days before the wedding, Prasidh and Rachana got engaged, and their wedding day finally arrived on June 8. Many well-known Indian cricketers, including Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, and Krishnappa Gowtham, were present to celebrate their marriage.
At the moment, Prasidh Krishna, who is 27 years old, is, unfortunately, unable to play due to an injury, causing him to miss the IPL 2023 season. However, despite his absence from the cricket field, the pictures of Prasidh and his wife Rachana became viral on social media.
One photo of both Prasidh Krishna and Rachana, shared by Krishnappa Gowtham on his Instagram stories, captured the couple together with esteemed cricketers like Iyer, Bumrah, and various other well-known players from Karnataka.
Iyer reshared Gowtham’s picture on his Instagram story with the message, “Congratulations Skiddyy,” and added his own congratulations to the couple.
Who is Prasidh Krishna’s wife Rachana?
Rachana, the now-wife of Team India cricketer Prasidh Krishna, maintains a private Instagram account, keeping much of her personal life away from the public eye. However, according to several reports, Rachana works as a product manager at Dell and currently resides in Texas, United States.
Rachana reportedly continued her degree in computer science and engineering before beginning her professional career at Cisco. Rachana is known for having an entrepreneurial background in addition to her corporate position.
She started an EdTech company that connects students with businesses to give them meaningful chances and experiences. Despite the lack of additional information regarding Rachana’s business endeavour, it is clear that she is passionate about bridging the gap between students and the corporate world.
Prasidh Krishna is on the Road to Recovery
Prasidh Krishna, the talented cricketer, is currently in the process of rehabilitation following a back surgery that caused him to miss the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The young fast bowler encountered a lumbar stress fracture in his spine, and it required mandatory surgery.
In the previous edition of the IPL in 2022, Prasidh played for the Rajasthan Royals under the captaincy of Sanju Samson. He had an impressive performance, claiming 19 wickets with an economy rate of 8.29. His contributions were instrumental in helping the team reach the tournament’s final, although they eventually fell short to the Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya.
