The World Test Championship 2023-25 complete schedule has been announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The cricketing world is now focused on the third edition of this renowned tournament after Australia’s commanding victory over India in the final of the WTC 2021-23 cycle.
The upcoming tournament begins with the legendary Ashes series and concludes with an exhilarating championship match at the legendary Lord’s cricket field.
Nine teams will compete for the championship over the course of two years in 68 thrilling Test matches spread across 27 series. Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies are among the countries taking part in this edition.
Additionally, each WTC series will feature two to five thrilling Test matches, with each of the nine teams competing in a total of six series—three on home soil and three abroad.

India’s schedule for WTC 2023-25
In the upcoming 2023-2025 cycle, the Indian cricket team is set to embark on a challenging path. India will compete in 19 matches from 2023 to 2025. A two-match away series in the West Indies will mark the start of the Men in Blue’s assault on Test supremacy.
Following a two-game encounter in South Africa in December 2023 and January 2024, the Indians will play a five-match home series against England in January and February 2024.
Bangladesh and New Zealand will play two and three matches at home against India. In October or November 2024, the Men in Blue will play Australia in their final series.
