Beginning on July 20th in Edinburgh, the ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier is set to kick off. This crucial event will determine the teams that will advance to the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup, hosted by the West Indies and the USA. Spanning from July 20th to July 28th, Scotland will serve as the host nation for this tournament.
The participating teams, aside from the hosts Scotland, include Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Jersey. These teams will battle it out for the top two spots, which grant direct qualification to the World Cup.
Jersey and Germany have secured direct qualification to the Regional Final. Additionally, Ireland and Scotland, having participated in the 2022 T20 World Cup, earned automatic qualification to this stage.
