Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar of the Indian cricket team celebrated a joyous milestone as he tied the knot with Divya Singh on Tuesday.

The Mukesh Kumar wedding festivities kicked off with a vibrant procession from Kakarkund village in the Sadar block to Gorakhpur, accompanied by musical instruments and falconry.

The ceremony took place at a hotel in Gorakhpur, marking the union of Mukesh and Divya.

The event drew notable personalities, with cricketers and celebrities from the Indian team gracing the celebration in Gorakhpur.

Mukesh Kumar, who was purchased by Delhi Capitals for Rs 5 crore in the previous IPL auction, has since secured a spot in the international team, adding to the significance of the occasion.

The ancestral village of Kakarkund is set to host a grand banquet on December 4th, further extending the festivities.

Gopalganj witnessed a significant turnout, with locals joining the celebration, including childhood friends of Mukesh, many of whom share his passion for cricket.

The bride, Divya Singh, a resident of Baniapur Berui village in Chapra, had previously been engaged to Mukesh in a ceremony held a few months ago in Gopalganj.

Dressed in a stunning lehenga during the Haldi ceremony, Divya showcased elegance and charm. Family members reveal that there is an existing familial relationship between Divya’s family and Mukesh Kumar’s family.

The pre-wedding celebrations were captured in a lively video of the turmeric ceremony. Mukesh Kumar’s infectious joy was on display as he danced to Bhojpuri songs with his soon-to-be-wife, Divya Singh.

The video also featured Divya engaging in spirited dance with other women, adding a touch of cultural flair to the festive occasion.
