Saurashtra skipper Jaydev Unadkat reaped rewards for his consistency in the domestic circuit as he was made a part of the playing XI of the Indian cricket team for the 2nd Test match between India and Bangladesh.
Even after bagging 8 wickets in the 1st Test match and orchestrating India’s win, left-arm Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was dropped from the squad. This came as a shocker as and this can massively hit the confidence levels of the 28-year-old cricketer.
Jaydev Unadkat stages a comeback into the national team after 12 years, as he last played a Test match way back in 2010. The match was against South Africa and it was the only Test match Jaydev Unadkat played for India. The 31-year-old left-arm pacer has also played 7 ODIs for India.
