Beginning on March 31 (Friday), the IPL 2023 will feature matches between the reigning champion Gujarat Titans (GT), who will play the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) under MS Dhoni.

The Indian Premier League will be contested under a home-and-away format for the first time since 2019. There will be seven home games and seven away games for each team. Throughout the course of 52 days, a total of 70 league-stage games will be contested at 12 different locations.

Ten teams will compete for the prestigious IPL 2023 title. All ten teams will travel for the away games in addition to competing on their home grounds. During the 2023 IPL season, IPL 2023 matches will be played in Guwahati and Dharamsala in addition to the ten cities that act as the IPL 2023 teams’ home grounds of operations. There will be 18 doubleheaders in the IPL 2023, with the daytime matches beginning at 3:30 PM IST and the evening games beginning at 7:30 PM IST.
