BCCI Announces Adidas As Brand New Kit Sponsor

German Sports brand Adidas has been roped in as the brand-new kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team. Adidas is one of the biggest sports wear companies in the world and has an excellent brand image.

The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to announce the same on Monday.

“We are committed to growing the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands,” tweeted Jay Shah.

The contract of Killer Jeans, which is the Indian cricket team’s present kit sponsor, will have its contract expire on 31st May 2023. Before Killer Jeans, MPL was the kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team.

India’s next international assignment is the prestigious and much-awaited World Test Championship (WTC) final. It kick-starts from 7th June 2023 and it will be taking place at The Oval in England.
