    In a horrific car accident, Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has been hospitalised in Dehradun. The car in which Pant was travelling on National Highway (NH) 58 collided with a divider. Rishabh Pant was travelling to Roorkee when this accident happened.

    According to news agency ANI, Pant was taken to a hospital in Roorkee immediately after the accident for primary treatment. He was then transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun for further treatment.

    Even though Rishabh Pant is out of danger, he has suffered a fracture. As per a few reports, Rishabh Pant wasn’t wearing a belt and that helped him come out of the car in time, when the car caught flames after the accident. The visuals of the car accident are horrific and sent shivers down the spines of all Indian cricket lovers and fans.

    Several Indian cricketers took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to extend wishes to the Indian cricketer. Some of the tweets are:

    “Rishabh Pant’s condition is stable”: Dr. Ashish Yagnik

    Dr. Ashish Yagnik of Max Hospital said that the Indian cricketer was under observation and his condition is stable. A detailed report will be released once the examination of Rishabh Pant ends.

    “Cricketer Rishabh Pant is under the observation of Orthopedics & plastic surgeons. His condition is stable. His detailed medical bulletin will be released once he’s examined. Thereafter, we’ll take the next steps,” said Dr. Ashish Yagnik.

    Rishabh Pant was not added to the white-ball squads of India against Sri Lanka which was announced a few days back. As per a few reports, Rishabh Pant is struggling with a knee injury and was to report at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore for rehabilitation that included strength training. Rishabh Pant is one of the most vital cogs of the Indian Test team and his presence will be critical when India takes on Australia in a 4-match Test series. The series is scheduled to kick-start from 9th February 2022.
