The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the squad that will represent the nation in the upcoming tour of South Africa.

The India squad for the South Africa series announcement came on Thursday, November 30, confirming KL Rahul as the captain for the ODIs and Suryakumar Yadav will take charge of the T20Is.

Notably, the experienced duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has opted for a well-deserved break and will not be part of the white-ball leg of the tour.

This strategic decision by the senior players provides an opportunity for the younger talents to showcase their prowess on the international stage.

Additionally, the pace attack sees the inclusion of Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, and Deepak Chahar, as the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammed Shami are given a well-earned rest.
