Mohammad Shami was one of the chief wreaker-in-havoc for India in the recently-concluded ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The speedster finished as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 24 wickets and was an epitome of class and consistency in the entire competition.
Post the World Cup, Shami wasn’t seen in action in the India vs Australia T20I series. Naturally, he was given rest as the workload during the marquee event in India was immense.
He was named in the Test squad of India but was subject to fitness availability as he is going through medical treatment, as quoted officially by BCCI.
Now in a viral video that has been floating on social media, Mohammad Shami was seen limping at the Mumbai airport. This brought a wave of tension into the minds of the Indian cricket team fans and they were genuinely concerned about the pacer’s health and fitness.
