A Gujarat schoolboy, Drona Desai has taken the cricketing world by storm with his sensational 498-run knock in a school cricket match.
Playing for St. Xavier’s (Loyola) in the Diwan Ballubhai Cup Under-19 multi-day tournament, Desai scored an unbelievable 498 runs off just 320 balls against JL English School.
His innings included a staggering 86 fours and 6 sixes, leading his team to a dominant victory by an innings and 712 runs.
At just 17 years old, Desai has already made a name for himself in the cricketing world, consistently performing well at the junior level and representing Gujarat in the Under-14 and Under-19 state teams.
