    WPL 2023 RCB Is Scouting Women Fast Bowlers

    For the upcoming Women’s Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore has started searching for a female fast bowler to represent the team. Karnataka’s aspiring bowlers are requested to submit their bowling videos along with contact information in order to be selected.

    RCB recently released a statement on Twitter seeking exceptional female fast bowlers to join the team in an effort to take advantage of the rising popularity of women’s cricket in India.

    Vanitha VR, a former cricketer for India who now works as the RCB side’s talent scout, made the announcement on social media. The social media post requested women who can bowl faster than 130 kmph and are quick bowlers.

    Vanitha VR, Talent Scout of RCB tweeted, “Dear women cricketers in Karnataka, this is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent RCB in the Women’s Premier League. If you’re a woman fast bowler who can bowl 130 kmph, then send in your bowling videos to [email protected] along with your contact details.”

    How to register:

    Aspiring bowlers in Karnataka are invited to send their bowling videos and contact information to [email protected] as the screening process is presently underway.

    In the bidding that took place last month, the Bengaluru franchise was purchased for Rs. 901 crores by the Royal Challengers Sports Pvt. Ltd company.
