Gamers Unplugged, a Spotify podcast hosted by Aaditya “Dynamo” Sawant has become a favourite for Indian gaming fans. It gives us an insider look into the lives of Indian gamers. Tanmay “Scout” Singh, one of India’s most prominent gaming content creators, was a guest on the most recent edition of Gamers Unplugged. Scout discussed a variety of other topics relevant to his gaming profession and personal life. Aside from the sombre content, there were also lighter moments. In the podcast, Dynamo asked Scout about his favourite female streamer and whose content he regularly watches. Scout said that his favourite female streamers were Krutika and Kaashvi in response to this question. He said, “These days I think everyone is working hard and putting in the effort,” said Scout “My sister, Krutika, I have fun watching her content. Kaashvi is a really good friend of mine, I like watching her content as well, and there are a lot of other female creators who are working really hard on a day-to-day basis.”
He went on to describe how times were changing as more individuals were given the opportunity to enter the area. There has been a stark rise in the number of female artists who were gradually stepping forward and joining the gaming industry. He explained how in the older days, people shunned away girls who took up gaming. There was a lot of questioning involved. However, in the present day, these perceptions have changed.
